There is an update in the police case involving human remains discovered at Roseau River First Nation.

In August of this year, the remains of 56-year-old Bud Paul of Winnipeg were located at Roseau River. He had last been seen on August 1st at a Manitoba Liquor Mart store with a man and woman. He was reported missing on August 7th. On August 10th his car was discovered burned in Winnipeg and then next day his remains were found.

RCMP continue to actively investigate his death as a homicide. New information has been received that has led investigators back to Paul's last known residence on Hespeler Avenue in Winnipeg on December 17, 2020, to do a further search of the residence.

Investigators have identified two suspects: a 36-year-old female and a 39-year-old male, both from Winnipeg.
