Almost every golfer that has picked up a club and played a round at their local course has at one time or another wondered what it would be like to be inside the ropes at a PGA event. For Perry Mohr from St. Adolphe, a lifetime longgolfer, got to do just that as a Marshal at a Champions Tour event in Calgary September Long Weekend, the Shaw Charity Classic at the Canyon golf and Country Club.
And just who were some of those big names Perry Mohr rubbed elbows with? Tom Watson, Colin Montgomery, Bernhard Langer, John Daly and many more. We asked Perry to share more about his experience marshaling at the Par 3 number 12 at the Canyon Golf Course and Country Club, and if he had a chance to speak with some of the pros.
But before we get to that, just exactly how did Perry get the opportunity to be a Marshal?
Perry tells us, without a doubt, every golfer should take an opportunity to do this once in a lifetime experience. He adds it's a bucket item he's now been able to check off his list.
