What an amazing honor for Kleefeld photographer Dennis Fast and four of his fellow photographers, whose wildlife images are being featured in a new stamp group issue which was launched this past Tuesday, February 16th. As Dennis shared with us on the Morning Show, the five stamps represent 5 northern animals that change to white in winter to match their surroundings. In Dennis's case the animal is an Arctic fox that he photographed at Seal River Lodge on Hudson Bay in a season when they had at least 30 Arctic foxes coming through camp and hanging around every day. Dennis shared the story well, of how the approach of a cautious fox checking him out became the special picture he captured.

This story of being face to face with an Arctic Fox is certainly one the "rare" side -- not a tale that most of us could tell...

Congratulations Dennis - an honour that is well-deserved.
