Fire crews, reportedly from multiple fire departments from across the region, responded to a house fire in the village of Rosetown on Thursday afternoon.

Those departments included Winkler Fire Department which sent two tankers, as well as Plum Coulee Fire Department, with Altona and Rhineland Emergency Services the primary responding department.

According to the Altona Rhineland Emergency Services social media page, the call came in around 3:15 p.m. This post also noted the blaze was already very involved when firefighters arrived, and the home was a total loss. 

At the time of the post, at 8 p.m., firefighters remained on scene doing salvage and overhaul work. 

There were no injuries in the incident.
