Winkler Police responded to a single-vehicle collision Saturday evening on Royal Crescent.
    
Around 8:30 pm, while traveling eastbound on Royal Crescent, a pickup truck attempted to turn south at the curve and lost traction on the ice.

Police said the vehicle then slid into a street light pole.  
    
There were no injuries as a result of the collision, and the truck was towed from the scene.
