During the early morning hours of July 1st Pembina Valley RCMP responded to the scene of a fatal roll-over on a rural road (21 West) about three kilometers southeast of Carman.

According to a news release issued by RCMP Friday, the investigation has determined four males were in a pickup truck traveling northbound when it rolled, and landed on the passenger side in the east ditch.

The truck was completely burned.

The 19 year old driver and 18 year old front passenger were both ejected from the vehicle, with the passenger pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver was transported to a Winnipeg hospital with serious injuries.

The two rear passengers, 19 and 20, had minor injuries and were able to exit the vehicle.

The four occupants were all from the R.M. of Dufferin.

RCMP say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision.

The investigation continues.
