Beat 2 eggs well and put them into a 1 cup measuring cup and fill with milk.

Add the egg and milk mixture to, 6 tablespoons of melted butter, 3 cups flour, 2 teaspoons salt and 1 teaspoon baking powder and mix it up.

Roll it out very thin and cut into strips. Cut again so that pieces are approximately 1 inch long by 3 inches wide. Then, you cut a slit in the middle and pull one end through to knot it.

Fry 4-6 at a time, in deep hot fat until golden brown.
