Service at the Pembina Manitou Clinic is going to be disrupted for the next four to six weeks.

In a news released emailed out on Wednesday, Southern Health-Sante Sud did not offer a reason for the move, but said officials understand care provider transitions can be difficult, but they are working to minimize the disruption of services for the Pembina Manitou Health Centre and Pembina Manitou Clinic during this time.

Interim nurse practitioner services will now be available on certain days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Those days are April 19, 21 and 26th, and May 3, 10, 17 and 24th.

If you experience a non life-threatening health concern and wish to access primary health care services, Southern Health-Sante Sud said walk-in clinics are available at the C.W. Wiebe Clinic in Winkler and the Menzies Medical Centre in Morden Monday-Friday. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and operates on a first come, first serve basis to register.

Patients in need of emergency services are encouraged to call 9-1-1 if they need immediate support or access the Southern Health-Santé Sud Emergency Department Schedule.

Southern Health-Santé Sud thanked the community leaders, Manitou and surrounding residents and provincial partners for their continued support.
