24 men's teams and 19 women's teams will be competing in the 2019 DEKALB SuperSpiel which is on this weekend at the Morris Curling Club and the Morris Arena.
The SuperSpiel field includes 2017 & 2018 World Junior Men's champion Tyler Tardi of Langley, B.C. as well as all four members of the 2019 World Mixed Curling Championship team that won gold in Aberdeen, Scotland last month. Colin Kurz and Brendan Bilawka are on JT Ryan's team; Sara Oliver is playing lead for Abby Ackland and Meghan Walter is skipping her own team.
Former DEKALB SuperSpiel champions MIke McEwen and Darcy Robertson are playing in the triple knockout event this weekend.
The playoff round takes place Monday at 9:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m. & 4 p.m.
