While all municipal water customers are still being encouraged to conserve water when possible, the restrictions have been lifted in the RM of Stanley for Pembina Valley Water Coop (PVWC) and Massey customers.

Agricultural sprayers and pools can still be filled from raw bulk or treated fill stations.

A water restriction was implemented last week after PVWC Chief Engineer, Jake Fehr warned the municipality treatment plants were operating at maximum capacity and demand was higher than their current supply.

The Pembina Valley Water Co-op is the third-largest utility in Manitoba and has the largest distribution system stretching over 9,000 square kilometres.
