All three Winkler mayoral candidates took part in a forum this morning on Golden West Station CFAM Radio 950.

It was the candidates last chance to address a large audience before Wednesday's municipal election.

Walter Siemens says they need to continue to press the province to four lane Highway 32 as it is imperative to growth in Winkler.


Dave Penner says he would commit to working with Star 7 and other settlement agencies to help and assist in making new people welcome in Winkler.
 

Martin Harder says that as a regional player Winkler needs to encourage surrounding towns and municipalities on regional projects.
