The Carman-Dufferin Fire Department had a busy year with over 3,000 hours spent responding to calls and reports, and training their volunteers.

Within that time they responded to 32 fire calls, 27 alarms, 20 vehicle accidents, and 13 other calls.

Looking ahead into the new year they will be using the new jaws of life that the Town of Carman and RM of Dufferin helped fund. They also welcome three new members and a new fire truck which will arrive in the next few weeks.

According to a post on social media they "thank all of our members for their service and dedication; their families for their support; the council members of the Town of Carman and RM of Dufferin and our great community for their support."
