Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? Mashed Potatoes and Gravy on the table? Christmas cookies? Classic Carols, and a fully decked out Christmas tree? In Manitoba, these are traditions we've grown accustomed to. But we wanted to find out more about Christmas, around the World! We know many immigrant families have been enjoying a Christmas or two, or more here in Manitoba, but have fond memories of Christmas time in Nigeria, Fiji, Germany, The Philippines, and India! That's where our guests come from. And for every morning show leading up to Christmas Day, just after 8:30 AM, we'll get our guests to reflect on their Christmases in their Country of origin.

GERMANY:

Many Christmas traditions that we celebrate here, originated in Germany. And Christine Froese of Morden joined us to share her special memories, and how they continue here in Manitoba..

were thrilled to hear about Christmas in India, with special guest Niby Noble. Niby currently lives in Winkler, but has fond memories of many Christmases in India. With five different kinds of meat on the table, and a spicy chettinad chicken curry? and PLUM CAKE? It sounds delicious!! Merry Christmas Niby, and thanks for sharing your memories with us.

FIJI:

Today we heard about Christmas in Fiji, with special guest Isi Masi:
