The harvest of cereal crops continues in the Red River Valley.

Ray Giesbrecht farms about 1,200 acres in the Plum Coulee area.

He says quality and yield of his wheat and oats is very good.

Giesbrecht says his wheat is yeilding about 60 bushels an acre while his oats could be up to about 120 bushels.

Some of his late season crops include flax, edible beans and sunflowers.

He says they'll have to wait and see what kind of impact this year's lack of rain has had on his beans.
