The Winnipeg Jets 10-game winning streak over the Vancouver Canucks came to an end Saturday night at Bell MTS Place.

Brock Boeser scored 29 seconds into the first period and added an empty netter with 2:01 left in regulation as Vancouver defeated Winnipeg 4-1.

Nils Hoglander and Zack MacEwen also scored for the Canucks who beat the Jets for the first time since December 20th, 2016.

Mason Appleton had the lone goal for Winnipeg. His first of the season at 2:06 of the first period tied the game at 1-1.

Vancouver goaltender Thatcher Demko made 23 saves while Jets netminder Connor Helleybuck faced 38 shots.

Paul Maurice coached his 1,608th career game surpassing Al Arbour for fourth in NHL history.

Winnipeg (5-3) will play the first of four in a row against the Calgary Flames on Monday. The first three games are at Bell MTS Place.
