On April 11th, 2017 police conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle near the corner of Wardrop Street and Birchwood Drive. After further investigation, police seized a quantity of pre-packaged cocaine from inside the vehicle. Both occupants were arrested and subsequently charged.

Early the next morning, the Regional Support Tactical Team executed two search warrants in relation to these arrests.

As a result of the investigation, at the time police seized over 40 grams of cocaine, four cellular phone devices, a scale, packaging materials, a cutting agent, and a small amount of Canadian currency.

The second occupant of the vehicle, a female resident of Morden at the time of the arrest, had her charges discharged.
