Some wild weather passed through parts of Southern Manitoba yesterday evening.

A number of small, fast moving storm cells were accompanied by high winds and heavy amounts of rain.

Harvey Westfall, who lives 8 miles south of Thornhill, says it got a little scary on his farm.

He says they felt it had the makings of a twister with the high wind and loud noise.

Westfall says 2.2 inches of rain fell in less than 30 minutes on his farm.

He adds most of that water disappeared in a matter of hours.
