Paving is expected to begin this morning along a portion of Altona's Main Street from Centre Avenue to 6th Avenue Northeast. The previous roadway surface was removed last week, and crews will start laying asphalt this morning.

Driveways along the construction zone will not be accessible during the day while paving is happening.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route during the operation, and area residents are encouraged to be aware of the machinery and crews working.
