A boil water advisory issued Monday for a swath of area serviced by the Pembina Valley Water Co-op (PVWC) has been rescinded.

The advisory was issued after routine monitoring revealed higher than normal turbidity levels at the Morris Regional Water Treatment Plant.

By Wednesday, the PVWC reported that the turbidity levels that caused the boil water advisory had returned to normal levels, with results of the first of two levels of testing expected that afternoon. However, another round of tests was required before the advisory could be lifted.

According to information released Thursday afternoon by the PVWC, a second series of tests completed that afternoon at the Morris water treatment plant had successfully passed inspection, therefore the advisory was rescinded.
