The Jets are in sixth place in the NHL's Central Division and are six points behind the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars who are tied for the second wildcard spot in the Western Conference. Forward Nikolaj Ehlers wore a non-contact jersey and skated with the team at an optional practice Monday for the first time in six weeks.
