The U12 Central Energy are Provincial Champions! After a strong 6-0 start in the round robin, including an exciting extra inning win over Eastman Wildcats, the Energy lost their final round robin game 4-0 to the Westman Magic.

The Energy were up and at it early Sunday morning facing the Westman Magic in the 1 vs 2 game. They battled hard but lost a close one 6-5. The girls were still positive and ready for a quick turnaround to play Eastman Wildcats for a chance to find their way into the finals against Westman Magic.

Despite the hot temperatures and playing back to back the Energy came ready to play and got the job done against the Wildcats. The Energy bats got hot and they won 7-1.

The temperatures were climbing and after a short break to re-hydrate the Central Energy was back on the field for the gold medal game facing the Westman Magic who had beat them the last 4 times these two teams had faced each other.

The Central Energy were ready to dig deep and play their hearts out for this final game of the season. The Westman Magic got a quick run in the bottom of the first. The Energy stayed solid defensively and had hot bats at the right time to come out on top with a 3-1 win.

This is only the second gold medal for the Central Energy organization. These young U12 players took the long road to the final and battled some unreal temperatures to get the job done.

These players are from across the Central Region and commit so much time and energy to the success of this team.
