The 35th annual Cripple Creek Music Festival is in the books and it was another success. President Peter Klassen noted the festival started as a family event.

"It started as a family thing more or less, for families that were interested in music and started playing," said Klassen. "More people wanted to listen, so it just slowly grew into a festival with quite a few people coming."

According to Klassen this is a free festival for everyone to enjoy, and added they do accept donations to help cover for the costs of running the festival year after year.
