The arrival of summer usually finds people busier with a variety of activities.
Leanne Persicke of the Canadian Blood Services says this also increased the amount of blood they need.
She says people are more active which increases the chance of accidents.
Persicke says they need all types of blood at this time.
However, she says they need O negative the most as it is the universal type.
Persicke says anyone can receive O negative should they need it.
A blood donor clinic is scheduled for Morden tomorrow, Altona on July 25th and in Morris on July 26th.
