RCMP continue to investigate a 3-vehicle collision that forced a detour on part of Highway 14 Monday afternoon. The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m., 2 miles west of Plum Coulee.

According to Pembina Valley RCMP, two vehicles were stopped on the highway waiting to make a northbound turn when an SUV crashed into one of them, causing that stopped vehicle to crash into the other in front of it. 

One person was transported to hospital for treatment and further assessment. 

Meantime, a cyclist was sent to hospital with injuries after a collision with a vehicle south of Rosenfeld this morning. 

According to RCMP, the rider was travelling in the southbound lane of Highway 30. A vehicle travelling in the same direction tried to pass but struck the cyclist with the side mirror of the vehicle.

RCMP continue to investigate that incident as well.
