A Morden driver is facing multiple tickets after cutting off a motorcycle.

On June 25, Morden Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Thornhill St., where a rider explained he was almost run off the road by an oncoming car.

Police say the suspect vehicle was heading eastbound on Thornhill St. and pulled into the oncoming lane in an attempt to pass multiple vehicles in front of her. The driver of the car did not see the motorcycle in the oncoming lane, causing the driver of the motorcycle to lose control while attempting to drive out of the way and onto the shoulder.

The driver of the motorcycle and his young passenger were not injured.

The driver of the car was issued a ticket for proceeding before safe to do so, which carries a fine of $174, and another for failing to produce a license which carries a fine of $113.
