Today is American Thanksgiving, and as Canadians most of us have a lot to be thankful for.  Decent jobs, nice homes, healthy families.  Incredibly in our country though, even with our living conditions there are people who will spend the winter living in inadequate housing, not have enough food for the family and will spend the winter with very little winter clothing.  The Eagle 93.5 FM is asking for your help in making a change right here at home.  Our communities need our help, so in the next three days please make an effort to support Stock the Shelves.  From 6-9PM tonight, 9AM-9PM tomorrow and 9AM-6PM Saturday we'll be broadcasting at the Winkler Co-op for Stock the Shelves.  During these three days stop by the Winkler, Altona, and Morden Co-ops to donate food and/or money for this cause.  Your donations will be split evenly between the Morden, Winkler, Rhineland and Red River Valley Food Banks to ensure no one goes hungry this holiday season.  And because it's American Thanksgiving today, be thankful that we have the living conditions that we do in Canada.  And be thankful that you're not being chase by these.
