The United Way in Morden is inviting the community to help keep kids warm this winter.

The annual Koats for Kids campaign is currently underway. Until November 12, residents can drop off gently-used winter coats, mitts and hats at the drop-off location behind the Morden Fire Hall.

Organizer Audrey Armstrong say the distribution nights are open to everyone. "We see families, single parents, and we see single people coming in as well looking for a coat and we encourage them to come."

"We don't have any way to decide on eligibility, if people feel they are in need we want to help them out with that," she says.

The winter gear will be distributed November 12, 19 and 26 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
